I purchased these as Indian Mountain. They’re clip on earrings stamped on the back sterling and F W or M upside down F. They look like Indian Mountain but I want to see what you all think.

My guess would be that this is Chinese turquoise

It’s the characteristics of the turquoise with that tight, black webbed matrix and the minty green color. I attached a photo of some Indian Mountain and none of these have quite the same matrix characteristics as yours. Of course, most mines have a variety of looks that they produce, as does Chinese turquoise. I could be wrong; there are people here who are more knowledgeable on turquoise than me who might chime in.

Actually, now I’m wondering if it could possibly be variscite. I hope some others give their opinions.
