Interesting Pendant

Found this today at the local gas station’s consignment area. It was only $2.00 and I liked it.
The base plate is sterling, as I checked that.
The worker through the pendant in the bag with the rest of my purchases. One of the yellow “stones” fell out on my way home. I tested it with a hot needle and knife. It is not plastic and the knife did not scratch it.
The stones are glued in. The stones might be glass. The white one is Mother of Pearl.
The back is interesting. Looks like someone tried to apply a hallmark after the piece was complete.
It reminds me of Middle Eastern jewelry.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Has elements of the Tibetan pieces purchased at Cost Plus stores in the late '60s & '70s
