Although this looks like authentic Zuni inlay work, this isn’t what we would call a “thunder bird.”
Here are some examples of thunderbird jewelry, that other users have posted on the forum:
Your necklace does resemble a bird or an eagle in some ways, I can see how you would see that. But for descriptive purposes, this is not a thunder bird. But it does look like Zuni.
