I wouldn’t call this Bisbee. It is a beautiful stone and it could be a handful of mines, including Bisbee. I would go in two directions, Candelaria or Pilot Mountain. My gut feeling is it is pilot mountain. The example I have included doesn’t have this same pattern, but want you to look at the overall colors.
That is a piece of Pilot and have seen it like your stone. I also, have a piece of Candelaria that was purchased from the Ottesons’ that is a match to this one.
It is fun to guess.
Your piece of Pilot definitely has the same matrix colors, With varying spots of black and brown. It also has an identical blue color. Thanks for giving me some leads to do some research, jason. Your responses are always appreciated.
