Just purchased this ITC, Ira Custer pendant for $9 plus tax and shipping. I contacted Cheyenne to see if it was her dad’s pendant. She said it was but she wasn’t sure about the beads.
What do you all think about the beads? Here is the description “Crafted from high-quality .925 sterling silver and wood materials,” As always I appreciate all comments.
Those beads are absolutely not NA.
I think a crafter came up with this necklace using Ira Custer’s cross.
Great price, though!
I would undo it, and put the cross on a sterling chain.
Thank you for confirming what I was thinking about the beads. I will most likely do as you suggest by removing his cross. The beads will go to the local elementary art department.
Most definitely his cross! Same hallmark as my jewelry by him. And I agree the beads aren’t native; look Asian to me.
The cross would also look good on a small heishi strand.
Congrats on having an Ira Custer piece! I love his work. And online it seems like a lot of it’s either sold, or already going up in price.
Thank you @Ziacat I have been looking for a piece by Ira and found this one.
Like so much of his work, I think it’s beautiful in its simplicity.
Edit: OMGosh! I just reread that you got it for 9.00. Can’t beat that!
Simple pretty pendant -love it. Curious what it measures : )
I was lucky to find it for $9.
Ahh, perfect size. Enjoy!
I’ll post pics when I receive it.
Very nice find! @here4turquoise
You did great @here4turquoise !
Love it, love it! Now you need some of his cross earrings to go with it I’ll help you spend your money
Great idea but I don’t wear earrings.
I forgot. Maybe a ring then!
I have a pair of his earrings, and they’re so heavy I can’t wear them for very long.
I’ve never had pierced ears and clips irritate my lobes. I know, TMI.
@here4turquoise Ooh, I like your new avatar!
