Hey all. We are getting ready to put up this massive buckle on eBay, however I can’t find any artist info on J.J. Hawkes.
Additionally, I’ve never had a piece like this and have no idea what a realistic value is. Is anyone familiar with the artist? Can anyone suggest a high and low price?

You are correct about the social, but if you zoom in, you can see a pictomark engraved above the name as well. It looks like a bird of sorts? Which made me think it’s wasn’t a name. But who knows 
I think a low would be $250 with a high at $400.
How do I find your eBay auctions? I can’t afford this but would like to browse your other items. This buckle is amazing!
