I am interested in knowing whether anyone can identify the artist’s signature/symbol on the back of this tie?? Attached are three pictures. Also, how do I assess the authenticity of this tie. It’s dated 1953. Thank you

Hello, I believe this is a manufactured piece. This bolo is much newer than 1953, do you have any information on where or when you acquired, and what you were told? Thanks for sharing.
This Bolo was bought by my Dad in Florida…about 30 years ago. I’m not sure where he bought it from. I know they bought some pieces from a couple who had bought out a trading post in the southwest, and had many pawn pieces. I’m not sure if they bought this Kachina Bolo from them?..I’m still interested in getting a feel for what its worth?..Thanks
I am sorry, but I can not find anything on that symbol. You think of this style of work being Zuni, and usually a Zuni artist uses initials or name not a symbol, some exceptions. However, this style is more difficult and you would imagine that you would recognize the style, most Zuni artist make the same style over and over, perfecting. We would come to a value using information like who made it and the material. Again, it is always difficult to address a photo and give information like worth, sorry but can’t really get there.
This is an older eagle dancer I found on ebay, http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330885656836 would imagine yours to be similar if you could identify the piece as authentic.
