Cutting Turquoise

Local Gallupian Kevin Barnhill, a man of all trades and excellent silversmith, gives us a look at some rough Number Eight Turquoise turned into large and beautiful cabs. One of the pieces he turned into a single stone with a perfect round high dome shape. The other piece of rough Number Eight he sliced right down the middle, turning one piece into a large free form cut and the other a long oval.
