I looked in my books and they only give me Nathan Fred who also uses an arrow with his initials. This has no arrow. Anyway someone is bugging me to sell it to them but I am not sure I am ready to let it go. Any ideas on who made it? Thank you in advance.
Oh wow, he’s fun! I don’t recognize the style but will keep my eyes open…
I really like the heavy chain. Nice piece. Looks like it might bite you.
This is a really popular style. https://www.google.com/search?q=turquoise+inlay+navajo+bear+pendant&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwi3k4G77PfdAhXBITQIHeNmAgQQ_AUIDygC&biw=1680&bih=884#imgrc=sGQq6dV2deM7GM: Many times this is made in a manufacturing setting, where one artist constructs the silver and another does the inlay. Your piece is very nicely done and seems to have some age? It is a very similar to the shape that Alvin Yellowhorse uses, https://www.google.com/search?biw=1680&bih=884&tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=ANS7W4CiM_Sq0PEPusCmqAs&q=alvin+yellowhorse+inlay+navajo+bear+pendant&oq=alvin+yellowhorse+inlay+navajo+bear+pendant&gs_l=img.3...801078.803857..804015...0.0..0.99.1582.17......1....1..gws-wiz-img.hc3DwWvV_48. Maybe this is one of his students.
Thanks Jason! Yes you are spot on it does have some age. The only ones with teeth I could find were Jesse Monongya, H. Smith and then on the low end some new ones made in Philippines. The shape is rather like the Alvin Yellowhorse ones. Maybe a student. Thanks again.
