Large pendant in sterling - turquoise?

I found this piece while thrifting yesterday. It is, of course, not Native American. It’s pretty. But is it turquoise? So far, the opinions I’ve received have been mixed. I’d love to understand what it is before I decide where it belongs. Many thanks in advance!

The only mark is 925 on the bale.

@frostiblack It looks like a turquoise cab to me. (It doesn’t look like variscite or chrysocolla, imo.)
