I have a very long Leo Ortiz silver and turquoise necklace that looks like it was made for a male. It has square silver beads and square turquoise beads with different heishi (mostly turquoise) stacked in graduated diameters to the clasp. The necklace has two ear loops on the bottom (I don’t really know what to call them). I cannot find anything like a bio on Leo Ortiz, and I would like to know about this artist. I love his creation–traditional materials, carefull rendered in a modern shape. Any help from anyone who knows about this artist would be appreciated. I surmize that he is probably in New Mexico.
