Looking For Artist Information

I have this belt called, I’m told, “The Story of Life”. The panels all depict various scenes of life of the People. It was wrapped in tissue paper with the artist attributed to Robert Buenke and the work is supposedly Navajo. The belt was acquired in Arizona in the early 1980’s. Except for the acquisition time period, the information is second hand and the piece, and wrapping, is inherited.

The photo shows just one of the ten panels that make up the belt. The buckle shown is approximately 3 in x 2 inches, as are the other panels. The hallmark shown is on the underside of the buckle. I’ve not taken the panels off to see if they are all stamped, but I presume the work to all be by the same artist. This one panel is representative of the style for the rest.

Any help identifying this piece would be greatly appreciated.
