I have an older turquoise & silver ring with initials scratched on back that looks like AZRZ. Anyone know who this might be? Thank you.
Most likely that is a trader’s code telling the trader their cost in the piece. If you can send an image I will know for sure, thanks.
I know the scratched initials are a little hard to decipher, but I can view with loupe as AZRZ.The “A” is square across the top. Here are 2 photos. Thank you again. Christine
That is what this mark is, a trader’s mark. The Z most likely represents a 0 and the A and R spell some nine letter word or two words. Hope that helps.
