I recently purchased these earrings. Does the MCA marking mean these are Authentic handmade Native American Zuni Genuine Turquoise earrings?
@Randi0706 Hi & Welcome! I’m not able to make out MCA in the 4th photo though I do see markings. No, that marking doesn’t necessarily mean the earrings are Zuni handmade and/or genuine turquoise. Do you have any background info on them?
Unfortunately no. I purchased them off of Ebay. The markings are on both earrings. After trying to research, I came across this group. For future purchases, I will definitely use this tool prior to purchasing.
@Randi0706 I checked my Hougart’s book on Native American/Southwestern Silver Hallmarks for “MCA” but didn’t see it listed. I’ve never used it, but others have used Google Lens to search for hallmarks. Just another available tool you may want to try.
Thank you for the information and your reply.

I looked at the seller’s eBay store directly from @Steve post. Just a thought ~ perhaps you could email the seller, through eBay, and ask about the “MCA” hallmark. It’s possible they can tell you a name .
Thank you Steve,
Yes, I purchased those. Was trying to research the information stated. I absolutely love the earrings and want to pass them down to my daughter.
I will do as Patina stated and reach out to the seller.
Thank you.
Thank you Patina, I will reach out to the seller.
