Mid 1980's Gallup NM pendant

Sorry if I posted this previously. Had a couple of lap top computers die and lost a lot of files.

Purchased this in a grocery store parking lot in Gallup NM in the mid 1980’s form the artist. Was part of about 20 items we purchased from him.
Metal is nickel silver. Turquoise appears to be authentic.

Any idea on value and specific type of turquoise?

Wild looking stone, we see stuff that is nickel sell for considerably less than silver even though it is handmade and has turquoise, $30-$50 range.

The value is more than I thought it would be.
