Milford Calamity

I don’t have any Milford Calamity pieces but really enjoy watching his videos. IMO, he is very talented and informative.

On Mondays, be sure to check his weekly videos, Mondays with Milford.

For those who love spiders, enjoy this beauty!

Thanks for sharing!! What a great video, and I love his work. I scrolled a little further down (because I’m not on Instagram I can’t look very far), and he has a video making a cast spider cuff that was crazy cool. When I bought my ring from him a few years ago and chatted with him at the market, he was very gracious and humble. Although I do not like spiders on jewelry (just because I don’t like spiders unless they’re outdoors), I might have to make an exception for his

He is an artist that often stamps his pieces with 925 instead of sterling.

I actually considered one of his spider rings that looked more like this (I could handle wearing this spider ), but ended up buying the other instead.

This one is Kingman turquoise.
Gosh, more dilemmas about what to purchase this year at the Eiteljorg Market

This is the cuff…

If I could afford it, I would most certainly make an exception to spiders on my jewelry for this.

@here4turquoise, I just watched another little video on there that he made before he had 100% decided what to do with the spider ring (the one in the link that you posted). He talked about thinking about making it into a buckle, but the base reminded him of a spider web, so he decided to put the spider on it. So cool to see his thinking process. Now I really am eventually going to have to join Instagram.

I just watched the video. His spiders are amazing! I don’t usually look for that type of jewelry but I would definitely like to have one of his. That cuff is gorgeous!

@Islandmomma and @Ziacat I am not a spider girl but I do admire his amazing talent and his willingness to share his knowledge.

I’ve been following Milford for a while on Instagram. And he follows me back, believe it or not!
He participates in a lot of local jewelry/art shows. One of these days I will run into him. He seems like a really great guy.
