I think that would be the single biggest lie in this article about determining the value of turquoise. Personally, I have the utmost respect for the opinions of
Cheryl Ingram of the Silver Sun (formerly of Santa Fe. & Old Town Albuquerque - just Old Town since 2019) and her co-owner, Deanna Olson.
FYI, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) does not grade our favorite stone. I understand they are in discussions about developing a grading system. I am looking forward to this.
