Just received this belt buckle. The thing weighs a ton and the turquoise is very interesting.
Congrats @diriklolkus! That’s such an impressive pattern. Really like the file work around the stone and the stamp work. It all adds nice texture to the front. ![]()
@diriklolkus Please accept my condolences on the loss of your beloved wife.
Yeah, that was an oopsie posting the unrelated materials. She was the love of my life and died unexpectedly. I retired on Friday after 43 years and she was going to follow me in a month or so. Life certainly throws you curves, but this was a doozy. She was loved by everybody who ever met her. I had gotten her a turquoise and silver cross but only got to show it to her in the hospital once.
I’m so sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine. And even if she only got to see the turquoise cross once, I bet she loved it, and it meant a lot to her.
My condolences as well. Take care.
Deepest condolences, such a devastating turn of events. In our thoughts. ![]()
May your memories of her comfort you during this difficult time.
May you enjoy your newly acquired, very impressive buckle, @diriklolkus. It’s a magnificent pattern, and I agree with @TAH, the stamp work is a lovely touch.
I fail to compose words to console in times like these. Please know that your Turquoise People community is here, and serves as an abri from the storms of life.
So saddened to learn of her loss. God bless and keep her.
Yes, condolences and blessings on your loss, Dirik.
My deepest condolences for the loss of your wife.
Please take care of yourself.
Oh my goodness. Condolences to you for such a sudden loss. Things like this are difficult. Fortunately, you’ve picked up some gorgeous pieces! Love, love love that buckle, and that cross is a beaut!
So, so sorry for your loss. I don’t know what else to say.
I’d like to thank everyone for the well-wishes. I’ll carry her in my heart for the rest of my days. I was so lucky to have her as long as I did. She was a treasure.
Deepest condolences. You guys are a lovely couple.
