Saw this at Oak Creek Canyon old Dairy Queen Native American arts lot. It’s Daniel Coriz apple coral necklace. Asking price is $900. Thumps up or down?

@here4turquoise Hi ~ Um, I’m not a fan of apple coral so, for me, I’d take a pass on it soley based on that criteria. You can see, though, that it’s a well made, quality necklace. If you like it, and the price works, then that’s all that really matters.:slightly_smiling_face:

I’m with you on the apple coral. I’ll be the doomsayer here. From what I see for sale in the way of apple coral, the material available today is being sold for on average $14 - $50 a strand. Not the highest quality in my opinion at that price point. But if you want something by that maker, you like it, and that’s what he is selling, then…

It’s lovely, and I think well made, but that seems high to me, although I’m not as well versed in Kewa necklaces. I love Apple coral, but I’m not particularly a fan of that kind of inlay, so I’m not the best one to ask either  If you love his work maybe Google it online, and see if this seems like a good price. If you don’t have good internet I can check after a bit. To me where are you buying it, it should be less than purchasing it in a store.

I think I would wait for Garland’s…

Edit: I did a quick online check, and this seems to be at least in the range of how his items are priced.

Thank you @Patina @StevesTrail and @Ziacat for your help with the Daniel Coriz necklace. To be honest, I didn’t get a warm fuzzy feeling on coral necklace like I did for the Nestoria’s beauty. I really appreciate each of you for your opinions and the reasons behind them. I will pass on it.
