Thanks for this article @nanc9354! I’ve always been interested in the medicinal properties of native plants. There are so many plants that contain amazing antioxidants, etc. Fungi, used by the ancient peoples have been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth, induce apoptosis (cell death), and block new blood vessel formation. They also have a modulating effect on the immune system. Fascinating stuff!
