I recently come across this silver bracelet and I don’t know anything about it, can you please help me with any information about it and if possible the value. Thank you
That appears to be his hallmark (you may know this, but he is Navajo). I googled his work online, and couldn’t find anything that’s quite like this, so I don’t have much information for you. It’s a lovely piece, but most of us aren’t comfortable giving dollar value to an item, because we are not appraisers. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
Your best bet may be to Google his work and see what it has sold for.
Thank you. I have googled some of his work but nothing comes close to this beautiful braclet. Just his common pieces start around $900 so i just have to kinda guess. Again thank you
You found different things than I did. Some of the things I found were well under 900.00, although Nativo Arts had a couple prices that high, but they aren’t terribly trustworthy, and jack the prices high and then lower them to look like you’re getting a deal. And it’s best to look at what things sold for. I don’t know how to do that, but apparently it’s possible.
TBH, I didn’t find a lot by this artist, but I only did a quick search.
It’s been hard finding work by him but i do appreciate all the hard work you’re going thru. I havent been able to find any art pieces that look like one I have come across, its really unique. If you come across anything that looks like it can you please send it to me.
If I see anything I will let you know.

not a large body of sold pieces found to put a value on your bracelet.
best bet would be to send pictures to established auction houses for their ballpark estimates.
Here’s a set I have. Have no idea what it’s worth or would have sold. I bought it online and it’s very nice but it’s just not my style.
I have no idea of the value of your nice piece but it looks like a lot of work went into it. I agree with Steve’s advice.
Thank you nanc9354. I did send pictures to Bonham’s and they where no help at all, no evaluation or no info on the piece. Oh well, what can you say…
The style used to be called “ear of corn” inlay. Had a master lapidarist friend, Jana Mitchell, teach me this technique around 73’-74’. Loloma’s work and the ear of corn inlay style was wildly popular at that time, and sold very well into the 80’s.
The inlay work in this piece is outstanding. It’s quite a lovely piece.
Thank you so much for that information. Everyone has been so helpful and I’m learning so much. Would you happen to know anything about the artist?
Only what I can see from his work, Greg. Silversmithing, quality of materials, and inlay work are all top notch. What I can tell you is that this a a super premium quality bracelet. Very special.
I value your opinion as both a silversmith and an artist.
Thank you
Thank you for all you help and information, I’m still trying find more information on Eddie Begay
