H & E Silentman :

one ring in this lot was stamped H & E Silentman

not listed in Hougarts 5th edition

I just could not figure out this hallmark. But, seeing “H&E Silentman” that sure looks like a perfect match, to me. I’m thinking the necklace may be artisan made (not necessarily Native American.)

I can guarantee it is NA made and not an artisan… .I’ve found other pieces with the hallmark but very few and no one has any information on the artist. All of my mother’s jewelry was either received in trade (from local indigenous people )at their business in Arizona or purchased on/near NM/AZ reservations.

It’s a very pretty and interesting necklace. Why do you say you can guarantee it’s native made - do you remember where she bought it? Those kinds of things help.

Possibly Henry Silentman who was running for City Council in Farmington in 2021?
