Anyone have any info on this mark? It’s a 5 pointed star with SB stamped in the middle. From what i could see and find people thought or think it could be Sam Begay but that was the only person people thought and by people like 5 people at most😅 thank you in advance!!
Hi, this has no resemblance to the work of Sam Begay, nor is this his hallmark. Can you share what reasons your people gave for the suggestion? I’m sure it would be interesting to hear.
Don’t see a hallmark matching this in Hougart’s. Apparently, Philippines fakes have turned up with a five-pointed star and an initial. Art-Amerindien shows a couple such hallmarks, of a star paired with the letter S but not inside the star.

I can try and find the link to the article I saw. There was 2 people looking for the same marking as this one and someone mention his name and that was my only starting point. I also didn’t see anything matching or close to his work that resembled this. Definitely not saying I agree that was just the starting point for me. Also very very new to this so I very much appreciate you letting me know what they were thinking wasn’t accurate.
This was very similar or maybe identical to the bracelet I saw that had the same marking! In the article/ISO post 2 people had a bracelet and I believe a ring with the marking and no one was able to narrow it down! The article/post was a 2-3 years old as well
