I recently purchased this Hopi pin/pendant online. When I went to wear it, I realized that the rolling closure mechanism doesn’t close properly (all the way). It stops at dead center and won’t budge. Can’t see any identifiable issue. I did a bit of research, and ended up buying a can of Silicone Lubricant to spray on it. That did not work. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? Advice on how to fix it? Thank you!!
The split part on either side of the moving closure looks to be too tight. Take a pocket knife and insert the blade little by little at the front to spread the halves until the closure moves freely.

Woo Hoo!! That worked. You & Buck (my trusty pocketknife) fixed it. Thanks so much, Steve.
