New Ring

Just picked this up at a local resale shop. I am not familiar with the hallmark. Can anyone help with it and a guesstimate on type of turquoise? I appreciate any help from the forum peeps that are always willing to help.

I believe the cursive D is Navajo Joe Delgarito’s hallmark. I have some earrings made by him. However, I am very puzzled by the AL; mine don’t have that. The turquoise is making me pause also, maybe Chinese?

ALV is the mark used by the Navajo silversmith Anne Pablito Valencia . She is known for creating beautiful Native American jewelry, often collaborating with other artists. One such collaboration was with Joe Delgarito

Ahh, now I see the full ALV after @Steve excellent sleuthing work. The “V” is stamped partially over the copyright symbol. I could’t make heads or tails of it.

Me too! When I googled, I simply looked up Joe Delgarito, and never thought to Google the ALV.
