I have old pair of Oscar Betz Potosi signed earrings - question I have is on the base of the chandelier and the post base are holes, like there were going to attach more chandeliers…any one an expert on Oscar Betz? Why the holes in the base. I will attach a picture … The others I have same time period do not have the holes…just curious. Thank you

I do see other Oscars are a bit different …The ones I have in particular you can see the holes which make me wonder are there missing chandelier parts? or were these just made that way back then…
