One more mystery hallmark for today

Since you all are so helpful with these things, I’m posting one more mystery hallmark I’m really hoping you can help with.
So, I know absolutely nothing about this piece other than I love it.
The hallmark is a ladybug, and instead of being marked "Sterling " it’s stamped 925.
The stone is also a big mystery. It’s pale blue with yellow and white matrix.
It’s very heavy.
I’ll attach some photos.
NA or?

That looks like mine but, I don’t see anything about the pieces history or maker?

that insect stamped mark was not even found here https://www.art-amerindien.com/hallmarks/ so it remains unidentified as far as I have searched

Thank you for looking  I’ve searched a bunch myself, and have come up with zilch.
It’s going to bug me until I can figure this out.

Lol, (lady)bug you out

Maybe it’s not Native made? It’s huge!

:joy::rofl: No pun intended!
Yeah, I wonder but, it’s so very Navajo vibey! Who knows…

Lol yep, exactly.

Yeah, I pretty much only wear huge pieces. Large turquiose clutter

Hubby got this for me for my b-day this year, and had no answers about it for me either. It looks old, and it’s very heavy. Not like they make in the far east where they skimp on silver so, it’s a head scratcher.
The search continues.

Maybe anglo made as versus Navajo. And I agree, it’s definitely giving Navajo vibes, but without proof it may just remain a mystery! I know the site that Steve posted is claiming it’s Native made, but they’re not offering any proof of that. I couldn’t find the hallmark. I don’t necessarily think that it looks particularly old. I just bought a cuff that is not old, but the artist works in a style to look more traditional.

I like large rings, but that one might drive me a little insane

I just noticed the 925 stamp. Native made pieces don’t usually use that, they mostly use the sterling stamp. Out of all the stuff I have, and I have quite a lot, only one piece is stamped 925, and I bought that one directly from the pretty well known artist.

Yes, that’s where I started wondering…the 925. I’ve never owned a piece stamped 925 that was NA.
I’m in now way any kind of an expert in this stuff but, I’d agree. If it’s not NA it’s whispering anglo but, again, the mystery continues.

So, as far as the big ring goes, you’re going to need to break down, and get one this size, and tell me what you think  I only wear them for a couple of hours at a time. I’m HORRIBLE with cuffs and rings, and should not be allowed to wear them. I’m too hand busy but, If I’m careful, they’re safe for short hand journeys.

#No way not now way. Sorry about that typo

I have several large rings, although not the size of yours. This one is probably the largest one I have overall (although it only looks about half the size of yours!), and I’m half scared to wear it for fear I’ll bang the stone on stuff.

I do have another one that’s slightly bigger circumference wise, and one that’s longer but narrower -that one’s the most comfortable.

Nice piece! Wow!
Yeah, so you understand my dilemma lol I banged one on a hall cabinet, the stone popped out of the setting and split in half. I was gutted.
I glued it back in, and now if you look hard, it just looks like a hair line crack but, I haven’t worn it since
Larger rings are hazardous.

Thank you! It’s also highly domed (the turquoise is Royston), and sticks way out of the bezel which is what kinda makes me nervous.

Oh, if you ever need anything fixed contact the store Perry Null in Gallup, New Mexico. It’s best to have people who know how to work with this kind of jewelry fix things. Otherwise it can get very messed up. I sent a cuff there a while back that was a bit of a tricky fix, and they did a great job.

Thanks for that info. I have a squash blossom that needs restringing.
I’ll give them a call.
