Opinions about this piece and it's artist from y'all

Thank you, it was another nice pawn piece that I got for a steal.

I could not find it in my book, but that looks like a finely made cuff!

Beautiful cuff, @Ziacat
It’s so unique…I love it!

Thanks! I didn’t wear it much for years, not sure why, but the turquoise color is deepening and getting some color change so it looks more vibrant. In the last year I’ve been wearing it a lot more, and stacking it with a number of different cuffs.

I think it’s a beautiful cuff and not block. Petit point and cluster styles are unfortunately so often faked, made overseas with block, etc, but that shouldn’t deter you from wearing and enjoying this bracelet which is the real deal.

Thank you! I appreciate that from you, because I’m not as knowledgeable about this type of cluster work. I really believed it wasn’t block, because I trusted the seller. But then you start reading stuff, and seeing block turquoise and start wondering. And I like the look of varying color in stones. I actually think this one may not change a lot in color, but it’s just deepened enough in its intensity that it looks even better now. And I am wearing it! As far as the artist, maybe someday I’ll contact one of the Zuni stores to see if they have heard of this artist. Or maybe I’ll just have to visit the Zuni Pueblo when I’m out there again

I really like that cuff, it’s a beauty (and very real looking to me!). That’s a pretty surefire hallmark for me to see stones that are a little different from one another in color. Something that is all 100% the same exact color is a pretty good giveaway that it’s likely not real turquoise.

I found this as I was mindlessly scrolling. It looks like my cuff except no hallmark. And the ends are finished a bit differently.
