Partial Signature on Vintage Peyote Bird Chip Inlay Necklace

I have a partial signature on this vintage peyote bird chip inlay necklace, I’m fairly new to NA jewelry and have tried to figure out what the signature could be, but keep running into dead ends. The necklace with the coral center stone is mine. The necklace with the turquoise center stone is a very similar necklace that was on display at the Wheelwright Museum, but unfortunately it also only had a partial signature, an “M” or “W” and the museum didn’t have any information on the artist. So the second necklace could be completely unrelated. Does this work or signature look familiar to anyone?

I don’t see an M or a W…:person_shrugging:

Here is the mark cropped and sharpened.
I have seen it before, just cannot remember the maker’s name/affiliation.

Thank you!! I’m hoping if I ask in enough places it will ring a bell for someone.

There’s a lot of peyote bird chip inlay out there from the 70’s. I’ve got a cuff that I believe is Tommy Singer, and the bird looks different from yours.

The birds do look similar on both necklaces, but the bezels are different. And I’m sorry, but I couldn’t find that hallmark.
