Can someone help me identify what kind of stone this is? I received the necklace as a gift from a friend. It was mixed with bone beads (I removed them) Is it variscite or is it turquoise?..
I thought so too, but the beads in my necklace not dyed (this color is 100% natural) and the matrix is not as uniformly light as variscite. Actually, this puzzled me)…
This is almost certainly sea sediment jasper.
