Pre Trip Purchase - Reggie Mitchell

We are in the getting ready to head out west. One of the things I was trying to do was set up appointments or find events to purchase in person from certain artists.
Unfortunately, we are in the wrong place for most events. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
One of the artists I was adamant about meeting and buying from was Reggie Mitchell, Dark Horse all the way! Thank you @Ziacat for bringing him to my attention!
While messaging him, he sent photos of what he had on hand in my size. Here is the one I purchased via messaging.

Some of you may recognize this bracelet as he featured it on his account.

He was so kind and patient during our conversations. I hope to meet him in person someday.

It’s fabulous!
Lucky you!
I spoke to him at the last Indian Market 2024. He was gracious, funny and welcoming.

Reggie called it a dragons egg. I absolutely love it.

He was so helpful. When I put it on for the first time, it fit perfectly.

Are you going to take your Reggie cuff with you and wear it out west? I always have fun wearing my stuff out there, because it’s a great conversation starter in the stores, and people in the Southwest just get it better than here (an adorable Navajo gal in a coffee shop in Bluff told me she liked “my bling”). When I wore my Reggie cuff last year, a number of places hadn’t heard of him. We can help spread the word about how good his stuff is

The more I look at your new cuff the more I love it. That bezel and the thick twisted wire around it are perfection.

Most definitely. I will also take the Artie Yellowhorse beads to find a naja or two. Another item on my list is a 22”- 24” James McCabe mercury dime necklace to wear with his bracelet I purchased at the trunk show last fall. We plan to leave in four days. :crossed_fingers:t3:

I’m so excited for you! I want to go back right now  It’s nice to have a tentative plan of what to look for, but then you never know what will actually grab you, and say, 'buy me!"

I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible time wise to hit Phoenix AND Grand Junction next year so I can visit my best friend and my nephew. It’s a 9-hour drive, but it’s doable! Although I might have to save up waaaaay more $, because there will be a lot more shops on that road trip.

This was the first year they hand searched my carry-on. I always carry my jewelry in that, and the guy said, “you have a lot of metal in there.” I told him it was jewelry, but they proceeded to pull almost all of it out and check it.

@Ziacat Isn’t it weird when they search your bags?
Were they jealous of all your cool jewelry? Haha
They did this to me one time, and it was a paperback book that was suspicious on the X-ray!

Did TSA admire your beauties as much as we do?

I spent some of my budget on Reggie’s cuff and will have to be careful not to spend it all in one place.

@here4turquoise
Sounds wonderful! All gorgeous locations.
Wow, that’s a lot of ground to cover.
And lots of opportunity to buy bling!
I wish you a very safe trip❤️

Not exactly, I think the guy was slightly annoyed, too bad for him. No way they’re going in my checked bag.

@Stracci, we went out 4/1 for a week to Grand Junction, CO to visit my nephew, and added in southeastern UT. It was gorgeous, and we got in some great hiking, but the weather was kinda wonky. And of course a little bit of shopping
