I’m not sure. Are the blackish blobs part of the matrix or something stuck on to the stone?

Hello, yes they are , the turquoise feels like hard glass and the reason why iam asking is because of the black part it looks bright black and like someone was trying to imitate turquoise. The beads in between are sterling.

TBH, I’m not sure. Some of the stones have matrix that look like dyed Howlite, but after seeing your last photo I’m wondering if it could be Chinese turquoise. I feel like I’ve seen some online that look kinda like that. Hopefully some others will share there thoughts. Sorry I couldn’t help more!
