Rio Grande Trading, oh my!

Well, I stopped into Rio Grande Trading today. I drive by frequently, but never stopped until today.

Wow! Serious eye candy. I just have to share with you all.

This is the gonna be a big photo dump!

This magnificent bracelet is by Aaron Anderson

This bolo tie center was about as big as an eggplant, no kidding. It was about 7” long.

Ignore the weird glare from the lights on the photo below

This cuff below was massive.

Okay okay…I’ll make Albuquerque part of our trip this summer  You had me at the Aaron Anderson cuff!

Although I admit those pieces with the gigantic stones like the bolo aren’t my style, just too large. But I would have a lot of fun looking at all those cuffs in the one case.

But wait, didn’t I say back in February that I absolutely cannot buy any more cuffs

You are 100% correct. And if the cuff fits I should wear it right?

This is how it happens. There’s no use fighting it.

A bunch of money was spent on new tires two days ago.

The 6 month car insurance policy is due next week.

The hot water heater makes banging sounds.

But the cuff fits…….

@Stracci Boy Howdy, you hit a mother lode of gorgeous turquoise jewelry!! I’ll take the bolo tie, squash blossom necklace and that monster cuff, please & thank you. I’m guessing it’s Royston turquoise in all three. This jewelry was a delight to see. Thanks for sharing.

Of course! What was I thinking? I’m sure she was on her way to the buckles and belts when her phone blew up.

Well, I was afraid that the sales lady would think I was casing the joint if I took any more……:joy:

I’m thinking these are Robert Johnson pieces?

And this one has the feel of a Delbert (or his son Derrick) Gordon cuff.

@Ravenscry, don’t you feel guilty enabling my cuff addiction?

I just Googled the store and see it’s in Old Town. How did I ever miss this place!!

I don’t recall you saying that @Ziacat ! :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

@Stracci Holy moly, I could not live out there. Too much temptation.

Yes, it is tempting to stop into a nice shop for a great item. They always have the good stuff.

But I think that’s why I love the antique malls and pawn shops. It’s more of a challenging hunt that way! And usually less expensive.

Man, I’m so glad I don’t live anywhere near there!

What a gorgeous bunch of eye candy! There are not enough napkins around to wipe the drool off my chin. Thanks for sharing!
