Robert Johnson Tufa Ring

I absolutely love the texture in this new Robert Johnson tufa ring. It will replace the wedding ring I can no longer wear.

The ring was ordered last Friday. He made it Saturday and I’m wearing it a week after it was ordered. He and his wife Lenore are such wonderful ambassadors for the NA arts community. Do not hesitate to work with them on any jewelry project.

Congratulations on your new ring, it’s a stunner! The texture really stands out and the rough, raw look is lovely. :+1:

I’d like to second this. A close friend of mine purchased a beautiful necklace from Robert at the Eiteljorg Market last year, and we ended up spending a great amount of time at their table. Salt of the earth, great people. Thank you for sharing!

It’s awesome! What a cool texture - love it. Did you have an idea of what you wanted, or have them come up with something? They are a wonderful couple. I always enjoy chatting with them at the market. Congrats!

Good for you on a new wedding band! Now we both have tufa cast wedding bands  ( I was wearing my mom’s, and the band broke)

Congrats on your beautiful new ring! Loving all the texture

I’ll look into working with them in the future but, I’m currently working with Kevin Yazzie on a matching ring for a cuff he made. Very nice guy.

Thank you @Ravenscry. My ring has a different texture than the one Scott bought from them last spring. This is a pic of his.

I believe it was this pendant. Robert showing it to Scott and me.

I’m sorry to hear about your mom’s ring. Can it be repaired?

The texture is  I sent the Johnsons a pic of the one Scott purchased last spring and I asked for something similar. His is thinner and lighter than mine. I’ll try to post a pic of both of them a bit later.

Thank you @Stracci It’s definitely heavy. I may need to buy a right hand ring to balance myself.
