As always, I was estate selling today and buying items I know nothing about. Then trying to research the item, and finally asking y’all for your opinions. Which I greatly appreciate . So far I think I have come to the conclusion that this is a Lakota necklace. It has bone ,glass and wooden beads. The wooden beads are the white egg shaped ones. I really like the larger beads mixed with the seed bead medallion in the center. I was wondering about the age of this necklace. How old or new do you guys think this necklace is? The leather on the back seemed to be in good condition so I thought it might be fairly recent. But I really know nothing about these types of necklaces. Thanks!

Beadwork can often be found at pow pows so it could be newer. Nice work on the medallion.
