Thank you for accepting me in this forum! I’ve loved Native American jewelry for many many years, and I have a particular necklace & earrings set that my mom gave to me that I wish I had asked her for details about. My apologizes it’s not turquoise. And it’s so tarnished… been afraid to clean it. I do know it’s signed in silver by v&l dishta, I believe from the Zuni Tribe, with mother of pearl inlay…smile. Long story short… after much research and none the wiser, I came across your group, fortunately… I’m wondering if anyone here has some brief history about this beautiful set, the artists, and what the possible monetary value might be. Very much appreciate y’all’s time and expertise. Thank you! Victoria
I found this while looking them up, and it really reminds me of your pieces; even the hallmark looks the same. This is a very respected business, so maybe you could contact them to find out more.
As far as dollar value, most of us on here aren’t comfortable with assessing an amount, because we’re not official appraisers, and I am most certainly not an expert, just someone who really loves Native American jewelry
Your jewelry set is lovely, and how special that it is from your mom. Welcome to Turquoise People!
Many many thanks for the bio, and suggestion!! I look forward to reaching out to the family. You found the same necklace I did during my research… it’s a beauty for sure. Thank you…my mom helped make my collection more special knowing how much I love Native American jewelry
The family must stay pretty busy with all the amazing jewelry they create
You’re welcome, sorry I couldn’t find more info.
