The first pic shows the color as it appears without light shining on it, the second is in the windowsill. (Showing the first since that’s how it appears in just looking at it, it’s dark and the matrix blends in.) The matrix appears to be two shades of brown, I don’t have any pieces that look similar. Just curious as to opinions on type of turquoise.

I would assume this is a piece of Morenci Turquoise.
