I have been interested in all things Native American ever since I was a child and learned that I am part Cherokee on my Dad’s side of the family (albeit a very small part) and then learning of the Trail of Tears in grade school. I’ve studied old customs and traditions as much as I could. I collect jewelry, baskets, pottery, a few artifacts and have a few old drums and other items as well. I am particularly drawn to older vintage or antique items, but have also been finding a few newer things lately too that I really like, so I am glad I have found this group.
