This beautiful necklace was in the jewelry case at my local thrift. Without even touching it I said I would take it. I don’t know a thing about its provenance, and will never know as there is no makers marks. What I do know is that the gold bits tested greater than 18 and I still see a line with 22 acid. Will have to have that verified. But it’s a rather hefty handmade clasp. The beads are strung on a cord. I’m sharing as this one should be shared but I don’t know a thing about its maker or wearer before me. Don’t even know if it was made by native hands or not. But I love it so.
