Spider Web

I am wondering if this is Spider Web Turquoise. I recently bought on FB marketplace and the seller knew nothing about it. It is stamped 925.
Thanks for you help.

Hi there, and welcome,
It’s composite turquoise (marketed under various names, like Blue Copper), meaning it wasn’t mined from nature as it appears but was commercially fabricated. It’s not spiderweb, which is a naturally occurring patterning of matrix and turquoise. It’s also not Native American. Hope this helps.

Thank you, thats good info.
Luckily I didn’t pay much for it
and I really like it.

@owllady; Gotta say, some of it (like your ring) is quite pretty with the copper added in. But the buyer should be informed that it is not an actual turquoise cab, but as @chicfarmer stated a fabricated turquoise composite.

Your right, people should tell the truth but in this case I think the owner got scammed and didnt even know it.
I was willing to take a chance because I liked the color. It’s very comfy to wear.
