Here is another of my treasures. I am not sure if this is still called a "squash blossom: or just a necklace because it has the bear track instead of the “blossoms”. I would love to hear any thoughts on age, stone, and any guess of the maker or tribe. I think it is Navajo, and someone told me they thought the stone was FOX turquoise. Any thoughts?

Another beautiful piece. I wouldn’t have a problem with calling this Fox Turquoise, gorgeous rocks. Seems like we call all Navajo necklaces squash blossoms, but you are right that this one has no blossoms. I would say this piece has been made in the last 30 years, it is a really nice piece that I imagine wears well.
