Squash Blossom Value

Hello! If I decide to sell my 1970s squash blossom set, how would I go about finding a buyer? And how would I know I’m getting a fair price? I imagine there’s a difference in price depending on whether you sell to a new owner or to a re-seller. Of course I would prefer to sell to someone who would wear it. Thank You

Beautiful.
Artist appears to be Navajo, Pat Chee.
You could search sold items frmo this artist to get a value range.
Hopefully someone here will off some value suggestions.

Agree. @frances Look at Sold listings on eBay and see what a comparable went for.

Adding to @chicfarmer , look at comparable SOLD items from western auctions. As far as selling, you could first try listing on Craigslist, FB marketplace, or eBay but you might also do well at a western auction house especially with a known signed piece.

Wow. That is prettty! Do you know what type of turquoise? Royston or Mine 8 would be my uneducated guess.

On the post where I first shared it someone said: On the squash I would say good quality older #8. But there are many types it could be.

Pat Chee does do lovely work. If it were mine wouldn’t let it go in a private sale for less than $1,000. However, at auction you might get as much as $2,500. I strongly recommend Western Trading Post. They often take items on consignment and sell them at auction for you. Plus, they are well known for the quality of their native items so you’ll get a wide-spread audience there giving you the best option for top price.
