Sterling cuff identification inquiry

I recenty purchased this beautiful sterling turquoise cuff bracelet and im looking to see if anyone had any information on the stamping? It appears to be an inverted J, over a letter V. Or it could be a letter N. Im not sure. It could also be a type of Thunderbird. Other than the one stamp on back, there are no other visible markings. Im in love with the cuff and eagerly interested in finding additional information such as origin and history.

I purchased the item at a second hand online auction house and no details were provided about the origin . Ive been searching online, but have yet to come across any definitive information.

Any info. Or details you can share would be greatly appreciated! I am a fairly new collector and so any information is welcomed.

Thank you

Hello and welcome. The stone is cracked in half, which drastically harms the value (and the aesthetics, and its stability). They should have disclosed this, it’s terrible that they didn’t. You’d be within rights to ask for a return and refund.

If you’re a beginning collector, a couple of tips: get better info before buying, and be picky about condition, especially when the main draw is the turquoise.

Thank you for the note. I purchased the bracelet knowing the stone is cracked and believe it gives the piece more character. I love the imperfections of the stone. Would you have any insight on the artist or stamp? Or any idea where i can research? Thanks again
