Stolen Jewelry Alert - May 13, 2025

I just saw this too. I’ve been to this Powwow a couple times and enjoyed it. In the past there were some well known artists there along with a lot of traders. I’m sorry, but the Bay Area in California is riddled with this kind no theft; however this is the first time I’ve heard of NA theft. They likely just broke into a trailer and took whatever was in there. I’m not familiar with Maryetta and Henry Jackson, but certainly feel bad for them.

@TAH This is such a sad story. I feel so badly for the Jackson family. How awful to have all their jewelry inventory & equipment stolen from them. I just don’t understand people stealing from others. I hope that some, if not all, of the stolen goods are recovered. (Thanks for posting this ~ it gives me an an opportunity to make a donation.)

That is a serious crying shame. How awful.
Now that the word it out, the scum shouldn’t be able to get too far trying to sell it here in the states. I hope they get arrested soon, and at least some of the couples livelyhood returned.
