Stone help - Bisbee lookalike?

Hi All, I can’t quite figure out what this stone is. Turquoise? Bisbee lookalike or real? Chrysocolla? It was made by Navajo artist Wil Vandever (d).

Don’t know what the stone is but is does have a few Bisbee characteristics imho (reddish brown matrix, electric blue color, small quartz inclusion).

Really lovely ring. I would say it’s turquoise not Chrysocholla, don’t know if it’s Bisbee, but the reddish matrix makes me wonder if it could be. Whatever the case it’s a pretty stone.

@Indriaza Hi ~ That’s a very nice ring. I wouldn’t be surprised if this turned out to be Smoky Bisbee turquoise.

I would tentatively attribute that as Bisbee. Gorgeous stone!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I used to work with chrysocolla doing beadwork back in the day and so whenever I see anything reddish with deep teal/blue, my brain just automatically associates it with that stone.
