Does anyone know what this symbol is called? it appears to be a ladle shape. It’s on the side of a cuff.
Lots of these symbols can be left to interpretation, I think of this as a water symbol.

Still spending quite a bit of time at home with being off work, so was looking through old posts. This symbol reminds me of an ice cream cone

Looks like a modified Water Serpent “Avanyu pattern” to me. Work looks Navajo, so the maker may not be aware of the symbolism and is just working with a pleasant motif.
