How do I post???

I am looking for information about an artist “Rosalee B” Aug 1940
On the back of my grandmother’s favorite
Turquoise squash blossom necklace.
My grand mother was living in Arizona, I think.

Can anyone help?
Thank you!

I looked around but didn’t find anything about Rosalee B.

Welcome to the forums Gieselle. I like your Grandmother’s blossom.

Hi Gieselle. This squash is signed with an electric engraver, which didn’t become available until sometime in the early - mid 70s. The beads are standard commercial bench beads. The 14 half round wire filigree work, and pinking shear cut bezel are also typical of items like this made in quantity in this style in the jewelry boom period of 70s, so that is very likely when the squash was made. It’s very unusual for native silversmiths to have dated their work this way during that period. If it was actually signed at that time, my best guess is the date was added or modified later by a 3rd party.
