Almost has an antique Irish Claddagh look to it. Check the stone with a refractometer and for inclusions before going with glass. If you see swirls in the stone under 10x then it’s probably glass. Otherwise…

razor thin depth of field trying to peer into a gem gets a little squirrely but the fractures and chips are hard to miss.

Aha! So that’s what the large rectangular item is in pic #3! I never would’ve guessed…
That’s a real treasure

Very exciting! I really enjoy rarities and oddities in Native silverwork, even more so with the White Hogan crew. Lucky duck

I see the swirls indicating glass.

when I first picked it up I was going to use it as a shovel to move stuff around in the trays because aside from my fingers turning black I got poked several times by open pins and tie tacs

one glance at the markings on the back convinced me that would be a bad idea. looking closer at it in the parking lot and seeing the name/address engraved had me thinking maybe key ring or dog tag. finding the listing at fineartsofthesouthwest nailed it down.

swirls… yeah, alot going on deep inside. gem tester not in my toolbox

That’s funny that you were going to use it as a shovel

It’s so cool! Now you can have a really fancy luggage tag, but you better not lose your luggage :flushed:

I received my vintage charm bracelet and was very pleased with the majority being mechanical. Price was below sterling melting price. Old woman in the shoe, dresser with mirror, waffle maker, cocktail shaker that opens up with a little devil inside, pick your wife, wife chasing hubby with rolling pin, lighter, cash register and others that I don’t have.

[/grid]. A few weeks ago I picked up earrings and a ring made by Kee Yazzie for a great price. The ring fits!

Your charm bracelet is charming! It’s got some fun mechanical charms on it. I haven’t seen the ‘pick your wife’ charm before, lol. The Old Woman in the Shoe with her kids is a classic. But, Holy Mackerel, that ring! I luv it. My rule: if the ring fits, it’s meant for you. Congrats on a fabulous find.

@Zia @Steve @StevesTrail @Patina much thanks for your kind replies. I’m glad the ring fits…just wish the shank were a bit wider since it occasionally twists around….my big knuckles!
