I read through some older posts where people were trying to identify items marked only “Begay” as to which Begay it was. I got this apple coral pendant recently and found the same issue. Has anyone determined who the mystery Begay is? Mine looks like the same kind of work from the other items.
There are literally pages and pages of Begays, it is a very common name. It’s like Smith or Jones to Anglos. I just looked, 11 pages of Begays in the new Bille Hougart hallmark book. And many more not listed.

Exactly which makes it particularly more maddening when it is only the last name and no initial.
