Turquoise Encylopedia–American Mines
Actually it is signed, that LG is a hallmark, but the difficulty is whether you can find out who that belongs to. I couldn’t find it with a very quick look. As far as the turquoise, the stone is so small it would be really hard to make much of a guess as to what mine it came from. And also without actual provenance you can’t really say for sure. People often think you can figure out what mine a piece of turquoise came from just by looking at it, however that’s really far from reality (except for some experts who work with it day in and day out, and even then they are usually very cautious), because turquoise from any mine can have completely different looks. We have fun guessing on here, but you need to know that it’s just educated guessing for most of us.
